Fight Hackers Harmony One! Binance & Huobi Team Up to Reclaim $2.5 Million!

 "Hackers here and there, will never tire of bothering others."The security teams of cryptocurrency exchange giants Binance and Huobi froze and recovered 121 Bitcoins (BTC) from hackers of Harmony One, a decentralized blockchain-based platform.Binance Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Changpeng Zhao (CZ) reportedly helped Huobi after discovering that the hacker had laundered $2.5 million of his funds through the company.Before Binance and Huobi identified the exploit, on-chain* crypto detective ZachXBT reported that the hacker removed around 41,000 Ethereum (ETH) worth $64 million last week.*Crypto transactions that take place on the blockchainIn fact, the hacker also deposited the digital asset on three different crypto exchanges after completing the transfer of the funds.Earlier on June 24, 2022, Harmony was attacked by hackers who exploited $100 million in funds.The string, the Lazarus Group which is a well-known North Korean hacking organization also identified as a suspect behind the $100 million Harmony exploit has said that the hacking method is the same as previous attacks against it.However, analysts remain convinced Harmony was hacked by the Lazarus Group, where they targeted employee logins to breach the platform's security system and then transfer stolen digital assets through money laundering.

Earlier on June 24, 2022, Harmony was attacked by hackers who exploited $100 million in funds.
