The Nexo Issue Messed Up the Bulgarian Parliament!

 "I've lost and accepted the fact that there's no need to blame the other party."The fight broke out when Bulgaria's leading political party, GERB, which was the ruling party between 2009 and 2021, claimed that cryptocurrency lending company Nexo made large donations to Democratic Bulgaria and We Continue the Change.However, most of the parliamentarians of GERB's view acted in such a way as they wanted to prevent the two rival parties from forming a government.Despite this, Nexo's offices have been raided by Bulgarian authorities for money laundering and this problem will give GERB an opportunity to further tarnish the company's reputation.Nexo reportedly took the case to court following his company's compliance with all anti-money laundering policies, so why did prosecutors accuse him without any solid evidence.According to GERB party members, five Nexo employees each donated 20,000 BGN to Democratic Bulgaria in October 2021 while two more employees also made the same contribution a few days later.The string, the Democratic Leader of Bulgaria, Hristo Ivanov admitted that his side received donations from Nexo employees but he did not see it as an offense as the transaction was registered publicly and reported to the Audit Office.While Borisov's organization and members of Bulgaria's political elite have accused former Finance Minister Asen Vasilev of having ties to Nexo following his previous statement that he would work with the central bank and crypto companies to launch digital asset payments.Because of that, Vasilev vehemently rejected the allegations and denied the statements that accused him of hiding on an unknown island.
